Between December 2016 and February 2017, we done 11 semi-structured interviews with Blued streamers in Beijing and Shanghai over a timeframe between 30 and 120 minutes. Most of the interviewees (elderly 21–35 years) tend to be Chinese except Adam (pseudonym, White, New Zealander), who operates in Shanghai and channels throughout the Chinese type.
